A Creative Team Event They’ll Actually Remember
Artist-led drawing workshops for teams across Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland. We bring the instructor, the materials and the format you approve — to your office, offsite or event venue.
Corporate sessions are scoped before they are booked — creative and memorable, never uncomfortable. You choose the format, the tone and the model coverage; we confirm all of it in writing so there are no surprises for you, your team or your HR lead.
Which Formats Can We Run?
Five formats, all instructor-led, all adjustable. Most teams pick one and we tailor the exercises to the group size and the room.
Guided figure drawing
The classic session: a professional model holds a progression of poses while an instructor teaches gesture, proportion and line. Model coverage is agreed with you in advance.
Clothed portrait drawing
A fully clothed model or volunteer sitter, with instruction focused on faces, expression and likeness. A comfortable default for mixed or client-facing groups.
Themed character drawing
A costumed model — historical, literary, seasonal or tied to your brand or offsite theme — for a session with a built-in narrative hook.
Creative competition
Teams compete through timed drawing challenges with scoring and a light-hearted judging round. Strong fit for larger groups and kickoff events.
Private team art workshop
A skills-first session with no live model at all: still life, collaborative mural-style work or guided sketch exercises for your whole team.
How Is Model Coverage Decided?
By you, in advance, in writing. Model coverage is a booking decision, not something negotiated in the room. Available options:
- Fully clothed model or sitter
- Costumed or themed character
- Draped or partially draped poses
- Traditional figure study
- Still life or no model at all
- Another format agreed with your team

What Should We Include in a Request?
Corporate bookings move faster when the first message is complete. Use the standard request form and add these details in the notes field:
- Company or organization name
- Estimated number of attendees
- Venue: your office, a rented space, or a venue you'd like us to advise on
- Desired atmosphere: professional and restrained, playful, competitive, or celebratory
- Invoicing and payment requirements, including PO numbers or vendor onboarding
- Any accessibility, HR or guest-conduct requirements we should plan around
Pricing and Service Area
Team events are usually quoted as a Custom Canvas booking, since group size, format and duration vary. Smaller teams sometimes fit the standard per-person packages, which run $85–$105 per head — review package pricing and how a booking runs from inquiry to follow-up.

Corporate Event FAQ
Can the model be clothed for a corporate event?
- Yes. Model coverage is fully adjustable and agreed in writing before the event. Options include fully clothed, costumed or themed, draped, traditional figure study, or another format we agree with you. Many corporate clients choose clothed portrait or costumed character sessions.
Is this appropriate for a workplace team event?
- It is when the format is chosen deliberately, which is why we scope tone and coverage with you first rather than applying a default. The session is instructor-led art education throughout, participation in any individual exercise is optional, and there is no performance element of any kind.
How large a group can you accommodate?
- Standard packages cover up to 10 participants. Larger teams are handled as a custom booking with additional instructors, and in some formats a second model. Tell us your headcount and we will scope staffing to match.
Can you invoice our company?
- Invoicing and purchase-order requirements are handled case by case. Note your billing process in the request form and we will confirm the exact payment terms and documentation available before you book. [Specific invoicing and W-9 process to be confirmed by the owner.]
Where can a corporate session take place?
- Your office, a conference or all-hands room, a rented event space, or a hotel meeting room across Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland. We need a private room, chairs and a clear pose or setup area. We bring all materials and handle setup and cleanup.
