What Actually Happens at a Figure Drawing Party?
A professional model holds a sequence of poses while your group draws them, and an artist instructor guides every minute of it. A typical session runs 90 minutes to two hours and moves from quick 30-second gesture sketches into longer, more detailed poses, with drawing games and a break somewhere in the middle.
Who are the models?
Experienced, professional nude figure models who work with art schools, studios and private groups. They are paid professionals doing skilled work, not performers. Poses, draping and comfort level are agreed before the event and respected throughout.
What does the instructor do?
Everything. They set up the room, teach warm-ups, demonstrate techniques, call time on poses, run the games, keep conversation flowing and make sure no guest feels like they are being graded. They also hold the boundaries so the model is never negotiated with by guests.
How big should the group be?
Six to twelve guests is ideal. Our packages cover up to 8 and up to 10; larger groups become a custom booking with extra instructors and sometimes a second model.
What is the typical flow?
Arrivals and setup, warm-up sketches, guided drawing games, a break for drinks and snacks, longer poses, a guest-of-honor moment where it fits, then an artwork reveal and group photo. Everyone takes their drawings home.

What is a private figure drawing party?
- A private figure drawing party is a guided art session held at your location with a professional nude figure model, an artist instructor and all the drawing supplies included. Your group sketches the model through a series of poses while the instructor teaches simple techniques, runs warm-ups and keeps the pace light. It is a private booking — only your guests are in the room.
Is the model nude?
- Yes. Nude posing is our standard format — our professional models pose nude for the group in a respectful, consent-based, studio-style setting, exactly as they would in a life-drawing class at an art school. Comfort and specifics can always be discussed when you book, and whatever is agreed in advance is what happens, with nothing changing mid-session.
Is this a strip show?
- No. There is no dancing, no performance, no audience interaction of that kind and no adult entertainment. Our models hold still poses so your group can draw them. It is an art class with a cheeky sense of humor, run by an instructor.
Do we need to know how to draw?
- No. Most guests have not drawn since school, and that is the point. The instructor starts with short warm-ups anyone can do, teaches a few quick techniques and keeps the drawing games moving so nobody feels put on the spot.
How many people can join a party?
- Packages cover up to 8 or up to 10 guests, and larger groups are handled as a custom booking with additional instructors where needed. Around 6 to 12 guests is the sweet spot for conversation, space and pacing.
Where do these parties happen?
- At your location — a home, apartment lounge, Airbnb, hotel suite with an appropriate space, private event room or studio you have rented. We bring easels or drawing boards, paper and charcoal, and we set up and clean up around your space.
