Privacy Policy
Bare Canvas Creations is a small private-event company. We collect the minimum information we need to answer your question, quote your party and show up at the right address on the right night. We do not sell personal information.
Last updated: this policy is a working draft prepared at site launch. [Owner to confirm effective date before launch.]
What information do we collect?
When you fill out our Check Your Date form or email us, we collect what you choose to give us: your name, email address, optional phone number, and details about your event — date, approximate start time, event type, city or ZIP code, venue type, guest count, any model preference, and anything you write in the notes field.
Our booking form may also record basic technical context such as the page you were on when you submitted and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived from. That helps us understand which pages actually help people plan a party.
Why do we collect it?
- To confirm whether your date is available and quote your party.
- To coordinate logistics with the model and instructor assigned to your event.
- To answer questions you send us and follow up after your event.
- To keep basic business records for bookings and payments.
We do not use your details to send marketing email unless you ask us to.
Do you sell or share my information?
No. We do not sell personal information and we do not trade or rent it to advertisers. We share the minimum necessary with the service providers that help us run the business — for example the hosting and database platform that stores form submissions, and the email service that delivers our replies. Those providers only process the data on our behalf. We will also share information if we are legally required to.
How is the information stored?
Booking requests are stored in a hosted database with access limited to the people who run Bare Canvas Creations. Email lives in our business inbox. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep access tight and we do not keep information we do not need.
Event privacy and photography
Private events are private. We do not photograph or record your party, and we do not publish anything about a specific booking, without asking first and getting clear permission from both the host and anyone visible. Our models and instructors are covered by the same rule in the other direction: guests are asked not to photograph or record the model. More on this in our FAQ.
How long do you keep my information?
We keep booking records for as long as we need them for business and tax purposes, and inquiry emails until they are no longer useful. If you want your information deleted sooner, ask us and we will remove what we are not required to keep.
Children
Our events and this website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under local privacy law; tell us what you are asking for and we will do our best to honor it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page. Significant changes will be reflected in the date at the top.
Who do I contact about privacy?
