Terms
Terms of Service
These terms cover how booking a Bare Canvas Creations party works — what we commit to, what we need from you, and what happens if plans change. Booking an event means you agree to them.
What we provide
Bare Canvas Creations provides a mobile, instructor-led figure drawing experience: a professional model, an artist instructor, and the drawing supplies for your group, delivered to a location you arrange. We are not a venue and we do not provide alcohol, food, furniture or staffing beyond the model and instructor. Details of each package are on our pricing page.
Booking and payment
A date is not held until a deposit is received and we confirm the booking in writing. Quotes are valid for the group size, duration and location described in your request; changes to any of those may change the price.
- A 50% deposit secures your date; the remaining balance is due before the event.
- Travel fee may apply outside our core service area; it is quoted upfront.
- Any venue, room rental or parking fee is the client’s responsibility.
- Gratuity is not included and is always optional.
Cancellations, reschedules and no-shows
Life happens. Cancel more than 30 days before your event and your deposit is refunded in full. Cancellations within 30 days of the event forfeit the deposit. We will always try to reschedule rather than cancel outright when our calendar allows.
If our team cannot deliver the event for a reason on our side, you receive a full refund of everything paid.
If nobody is at the address at the agreed start time, we will wait a reasonable period and attempt to reach you. Time lost comes out of the booked session length.
Age requirement
All guests must be 18 or older. There are no exceptions, and we may ask for ID. If anyone under 18 is present, the session cannot proceed and the booking is treated as a late cancellation.
Your venue, your rules
You are responsible for securing the space and confirming that the activity is permitted there. That includes hotel, Airbnb, private clubroom and event-space policies, plus any rules about alcohol. We need a private room with a door that closes, room for guests to sit and draw, and reasonable light and access for load-in. If the space turns out to be unusable or the host asks us to stop, the session ends and the booking is non-refundable.
Conduct
This is an art session, not an adult-entertainment performance. Our models and instructors are professionals at work. Guests may not touch the model, request anything outside the agreed format, or behave in a way that is harassing, coercive or unsafe. The instructor may pause or end a session for conduct reasons without a refund. Extremely intoxicated guests may be asked to step out.
Photography and consent
Photographing or recording the model is not permitted at any point. Group photos and photos of artwork are welcome once the model is dressed and has agreed to be in frame — or out of it. We do not photograph your event, and we never publish anything from a private booking without asking. The same policy is spelled out in our FAQ and in our privacy policy.
Liability
Guests attend at their own risk and are responsible for their own behavior, their own property and any damage caused at the venue. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to an event is limited to the amount paid for that event. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Artwork
Drawings made at your party belong to the guests who made them. Please keep in mind that the model has not consented to their likeness being published — keep sketches to your group.
Website content
Copy, illustrations and branding on this site belong to Bare Canvas Creations. Pricing and availability shown here can change, and are confirmed in writing when you book.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the version in effect is the one published when you book. Questions? Email artposemodel@gmail.com (placeholder address — owner to confirm before launch), or check your date if you are ready to plan.
